SWA ROUTE 66 PROGRAMME - VOLUNTEER MENTORS REQUIRED

SWA Route 66 programme supports clients to achieve life goals and dreams. The 6 week programme builds self confidence and assists women in identifiying and achieving life goals and improving their financial independence. The Route 66 programme is popular amongst our women and we want to expand this further so more women can take part. The course provides mentors who are directly matched with programme participants and who support them for 3-12 months in achieving postive change.

VOLUNTEER RECOVERY PROGRAMME FACILITATORS

SWA is in the process of expanding its hugely successful recovery toolkit programme so we can support even more women. Our RTK groups are very popular and we need some special volunteers to help us deliver more of them !

Do you have experience in facilitating training, group programmes and courses ? Do you have experience of supporting those in recovery/trauma based sevices ?  If you do - We need you !

Are you higihly organised and enjoy working in a busy environment ? Can you multi-task, work with minimum supervision and meet  important deadlines ? Are you able to keep the pace in our busy and challenging refuge office environment ?  If you can answer yes to these questions then we want you to join our team !  

CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE (CYP) SUPPORT WORKER - Closing Date 13th June

Do you enjoy working with children and young people ? SWA is looking to recruit a full time CYP support worker to join their successful team. This role involves supporting CYP and mothers who live in our refuge with 1-2-1 and group support. You willl be passionate and keen to make a postive difference to the lives of our children, providing support and planning activiities to enhance their stay with us.

Volunteering Opportunities With Swindon Women’s Aid - June 2018

We are always happy to welcome individuals into our volunteer network.  Our volunteers help us in a number of ways, they can provide regular support, such as helping on reception or collecing donations in our van or occasional support - like helping at one off events, support us with seasonal work. We curently have a variety of volunteering opportunities with Swindon Women’s Aid, so if you want to help us to help others please get in touch.
