Getting Help

If you are a victim of domestic violence or abuse

You are not to blame. It can be hard to recognise or admit that you are the target of domestic violence and abuse. Your abuser may tell you it is your fault - but no victim asks for it or deserves to be abused regardless of what the victim says or does. You have the right to live with respect and safety and to put your own and your children's needs first. You can talk in confidence to Swindon Women’s Aid staff on our 24 hour 7 day a week helpline

We provide a confidential service to victims of domestic violence and abuse.  We will listen to you and we can provide you with information, advice and practical support if you want it. Please do not feel you are alone. You can call Swindon Women’s Aid at any time on 01793 610 610.

In an emergency, if you or your children are at risk of immediate harm please always call the police on 999.
