Domestic Violence Awareness Week Monday 19 November – Friday 23 November

There are various events and activities taking place across Swindon to mark this year’s Domestic Violence awareness week these include the opening of the consultation on the new draft domestic abuse strategy for Swindon and Wiltshire on Monday 19th November (see this page for further information)

Swindon Borough Council White Ribbon event

Swindon Borough Council White Ribbon event to be held outside the Civic Centre Offices at 11am Friday 23rd November. This annual event is attended by local communities and organisations in Swindon and will involve the tying of a big white ribbon around the big tree in the Civic Centre.

Keep an eye open for white ribbons tied in variety of places within Swindon town centre this Friday as Swindon Women’s Aid will be teaming up with the Swindon Community Safety Partnership in Swindon Town Centre  from 2pm and will have information points outside of Debenhams and at the Orbital Centre. We will be providing information and advice on local support services, selling wishes and holding a raffle in support of Swindon Women’s Aid.
